No. The free desktop app already converts PNG, JPG, BMP and WebP files to SVG, offline and without limits. PixelToPath Pro adds automation on top: hot folder monitoring, batch conversion of hundreds of images at once, and a command-line interface.
A hot folder is a folder that PixelToPath Pro keeps watching. Whenever a new image appears in it - because you saved, copied or dropped it there - the app detects it and converts it to SVG automatically, then places the result in the output folder you chose. You never have to open the app or click convert.
You can queue your entire library - import 100 images, or several hundred - and convert them all in one run. The only limit is your own machine, since every conversion runs locally on your CPU with the VTracer engine.
The command-line interface lets you convert images with a single command, without opening the graphical interface. You can integrate vectorization into shell scripts, build pipelines and CI jobs, or schedule recurring conversions with tools like cron or Windows Task Scheduler.
