Overview

PixelToPath is a free image-to-SVG conversion tool operated by an individual based in France. This policy describes what data is collected when you use this service and how it is handled.

Data collected

When you convert an image, the following is recorded on our server:

IP hash Non-reversible hash - raw IP never stored
Image metadata Dimensions and format (e.g. 800×600 PNG)
Color mode The conversion setting you selected
Processing time Duration of the conversion in ms
Uploaded file Stored temporarily - deleted after 24 hours

Your raw IP address is never stored in any file or exposed publicly. Only a one-way hash is retained.

Geolocation

We derive an approximate country and city from your IP address using a local copy of the MaxMind GeoLite2 database. This lookup is performed entirely on our server.

Your IP address is never sent to any third party for geolocation purposes.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted instance of Matomo Analytics with the following settings:

  • Cookies disabled
  • IP anonymization enabled
  • Data stored on our own infrastructure only
